This significant success of the Czech company is also confirm by the prestigious EMEA Sales Growth Partner Award 2016, which was present in Barcelona at the Symantec Roundtable 2016 event organiz for the most important partners of this largest certification authority in the world.

We bring you an interview with SSLmarket manager Jindřich Zechmeister, in which we look at what was behind this significant success, what are the current trends in encryption and whether paid SSL certificates are threaten by the Encryption Everywhere initiative.
Hello Mr. Zechmeister, when and how did you find out about this award? Was there a special award ceremony?
The award is present to partners at the end of the annual Symantec Roundtable meeting, to which select partners are invit. The announcement of the winners is intend as a surprise, and we were inde pleasantly surpris. To receive an award from the directors of Symantec and in such a tough competition from the largest European web hosts is definitely pleasing.
Tell us a bit about the SSLmarket project
When and how was it actually creat?
ZONER software dealt with SSL certificates already at the end of the 90s, but it was its own certification authority, which, however, did not prove to be promising in the long term.
We start offering Thawte and later Verisign (now Symantec) and GeoTrust SSL certificates for existing Internet services. This business has gradually grown, which is why we creat the SSLmarket brand with a separate website for selling certificates. This help spe up and improve the quality of the sale of certificates in the Czech Republic and subsequently enabl expansion abroad.
On the website it is stat that you are also a Symantec Platinum Partner. Which is only a few companies in the world. Can you tell us how the Czech company obtain such a high form of cooperation with the world giant?
In order to participate in this program, it is necessary to meet the requirements for the volume of sales and subsequently for the quality of the services provid. In our case, one of the requirements is the certification of the customer support team, which is a matter of course for us.
