Why my blog gets more attention than yours

It’s frustrating. You’ve already created a few posts and you still have a few visitors without seeing any increase in blog traffic. You’re about to throw in the towel because now you think that having a blog is pointless. Why keep trying? I understand you. Creating your own blog that gets readers is not an easy task. Maybe you thought that the visits would come more quickly. You hear about many bloggers who become successful “overnight” and even make money from it. Things are not like that.

I love blogging

Let’s take my case as an example. Although I think that this blog still has a significant potential for improvement, it is considered one of the best blogs about marketing in Spain. One should not take these types of awards too seriously, but in the end I am human and I was happy to receive this positive feedback. Having a blog has brought me a lot: business, interviews, contacts, courses, presentations, etc. Yesterday I published an interview where I talk a little about my beginnings as a blogger and maybe you can better understand my obsession with running marathons. In this post I want to share with you why this blog is perhaps receiving more attention than yours and what I am doing to get here.

Experience as a blogger for 7 years: I have not started blogging since yesterday. I have been writing for almost 8 years. I have learned a bolivia phone number library lot along the way and I hope to have a very long journey ahead of me. You don’t have to wait 7 years to be successful with a blog. But things take time to mature.

Guerrilla Marketing

on the Web 2.0”: I was a little late to start a blog that was related to my entrepreneurial activity. It was Carlos Blanco who gently pushed me because he considers it a key activity for a CEO of a start-up. Not only your experience as a blogger is relevant but also the time invested with a specific blog.

Consistency in publishing: publishing 1 if you don’t have an external seo partner post every day is one of the key factors of success for this blog in 2012. Consistency creates positive expectations from your readers. It has had a significant impact on generating new subscribers by email and RSS (+100% in the first 3 months of 2012). Every day at 00:01 a new post is published.

There are no excuses: I’m sorry, but excuses are for losers. There is force majeure and priorities. I have published with the flu (I had 1 wildcard post planned for these cases), on the 14-hour days during the OMExpo fair where Coguan was atb directory present with a stand and after running the Barcelona marathon. If you want to achieve something you have to commit. It’s been 101 days and I’ve posted 102 posts (one post by guest blogger Sonia Diez) in 2012.

Writing 1 post a day

This post is not intended to waver. I have exactly the same abilities as those of you who have read this post. I have good and bad days like everyone else. But I have learned one thing from my parents. They were the first generation of Spaniards who moved to Germany without speaking the language in order to have a better life. If you want to achieve something you have to work hard. There are no excuses. This obviously doesn’t only apply to creating a blog. I try to apply it to all the things I want to achieve in life.
