Why quitting consulting projects in 2 years is not such a good idea

In a recent study on freelancing in Germany, the main challenge today was to obtain new projects. I can confirm this. Right now, it is true that it is becoming more difficult. In fact, I was three weeks without a project, which changed last week when I was able to get a new one. This Tuesday, this afternoon if you happen to read these lines in the morning, I have an interview for possibly another one.

Things are looking good again when it comes to project acquisition

Although this time I was only one week longer than the previous longest period without a project of two weeks, there was a significant difference. Last time I had already agreed on the project and I simply had a two-week break which also fell during my vacation period.

I am challenged and often have difficult poland whatsapp number data moments because I am taken out of my comfort zone. This push that I experience in consulting projects makes me grow. That is why when I have an interview for a new project I do not face it with fear.

It is quite the opposite

My confidence and self-esteem are sky high online marketing predictions for 2016 because I have already done many things in the past. I have to be very careful not to show this “mental arrogance” in the interview as well. I usually succeed (normally) because my conversion rate is usually good. It is no longer 80% as it was a year ago but it is still decent.

Many of the things I learn in qatar data these projects (which are not few) make me more aware of my own weaknesses in my businesses. They are like free coaching. It doesn’t stop there because then I take the step of implementing the best in our organization.

Now then, what is this post about?

I don’t think we would have had this evolution in the last two years if it hadn’t been for the improvements I have implemented thanks to the consulting projects.

So the other day I asked myself the question: What if I continue with the projects a little longer? Not because I still need them, but rather as a continuous learning process. It’s clear that having a focus on one thing is also a great added value. I’m not sure what could help me go faster right now. I don’t have to answer that question either. In two years we’ll see what happens and where we are.
